My little spooky crew.
The Wed. before Halloween Melissa hosted a halloween party for our mommy group. I am so blessed to have these amazing friends, and it is so wonderful that all of our kids hang out and play together and are friends as well. I don't know what I would do without his group. :)
Melissa did an amazing job! We all brought stuff too, look at this spread!
Melissa made each family a basket of goodies...
We played games, ate food, hung out. We probably have 300+ pics of this evening, so it was hard picking out ones for this blog without it being overkill, lol. There were so many people there that not all of them are in these pics, I wish I could put all of the pics on here!!!
Me & Melissa

Nicolette & Sawyer

Melissa & Phillip

Mariah, the boys & Bradley...the big kids. :)

Do you like Bourbon's costume? He was the invisible kid here.... hee hee (actually he was too busy playing to be bothered with pictures at this moment.)

Aren't the luminaries cool?! I love them. We are going to have to make some for other holidays as well....
Friday morning was my appointment at the velvet monkey, and I always bring treats to them when I go. I brought a halloween variety, but also some banana brownies with chocolate monkeys on top because Estrella loves monkeys. :)
Friday evening was the trunk or treat event at the church where I work & Starla goes to school. Starla decided to wear her Disco girl outfit.
My favorite was the car full of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that were giving away slices of pizza!!!
"Alice" is Starla's best friend Miss Sarah at school. She is the toddler teacher next door to my room, and every morning we got to school, she visits miss Sarah in her room for the 30 minutes before school starts and the 30 minutes after school is over. She loves Miss Sarah.
Friday night IHOP had free scary face pancakes for kids, so Nanny took the kiddos & I out to eat.
Saturday night was the official trick or treat night around these parts. My friend Lori had invited us over for dinner and then trick or treating with her family. She made the most amazingly yummy dinner of briskit & ribs and all the fixins!! Mmm...
We brought dessert..... :)
After dinner we got ready and went trick or treating, here was our costumed crew. :) Starla decided to wear her poodle skirt outfit....
After watching The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Roman was sure that if he used a pillowcase to trick or treat, he would get more candy. And what's cooler than a Charlie Brown pillow case?! :)
After all of our trick or treat fun at the Carter House, the kids went over to Nanny & Papa's to stay the night.
Sunday morning as soon as I got up, I headed over to my moms to make pumpkin pankcakes with the kiddos for halloween morning......
