Nostalgia

We were at Target over the weekend, and what should catch my eye on one of the toy aisles? Really? Could it be?! A MUNCHICHI!! I can't believe it! I haven't seen one of these in eons! I loved them when I was a kiddo. Oh how it made me smile to buy this sweet little thumb sucking monkey-like doll.



I can't decide now if I get to keep her, or if she makes her way into Starla's christmas pile...... sigh.

I have also successfully gotten Starla hooked onto the Smurfs! Thanks so Targets $1 spot, where they had all this cute smurf stuff for a buck!! Only after she got the toys would she even sit still long enough to watch an episode, but now she requests to watch them!

I don't think I ever owned a Barbie that quite looked like the ones she paints, I'm sure mine were a bit more modernized, but I love the retro look of her barbie paintings and I want one!! The Velvet Monkey, where I go to get my hair done, always has local artists stuff haning for sale on their walls, and these paintings have been there the last 2 times I've gone. If my husband doesn't buy me one for Christmas, I may have to go get one for myself....... :)
