Of course he had to wear his Potter gear
I was rather surprised that these bands actually had merchandise, all of them had more than one CD for sell, and they had T-shirts, cups, kazoos, lol. I thought this was just a pretend thing, bands formed just for this night or something, but that's not the case, they do gigs and make CD's, it was rather amusing. They reminded me a lot of Weird Al, just parody songs about the wizarding world.
The girl on the right is part of the Parslemouths, but her partner was absent, so she had the Moaning Myrtle girl fill in. They were funny.
This is Justin Finch-Fletchley with the Parslemouth. He was pretty lively and animated, and all of his songs revolved around Harry Potter, so that was good. Except he had one song "Dunbledore's Gay and that's ok" that I thought might have been a bit much for a bunch of kids at the library....
(And on a side note, I hate that J.K. Rowling had a press conference just to announce that Dumbledore was gay. It's not in the books at all, she just did it on her own. I have never mentioned that fact to the kids, I think it's just silly, and was unneccesary.)

She had some cute Harry Potter songs, but then she just branched out to a bunch of other stuff, some of which we had never heard of. She did have one song that cracked me up "Buffy will you please slay Edward?" hee hee....
After that, the next guy that came on, I have no idea what the heck he was singing about, so we left after that. I was also amused at how many teenagers were there, and that were singing along with the words, they obviously own the CD's and freqent these shows, which just made me giggle. If I ever get it uploaded to youtube, I took video of this one guy jamming because he was just cracking me up....
He's acting like his Monster Book of Monsters is eating his scarf....hee hee I love that kid.
