Nickelodeon Live

So Tuesday Starla & I had tickets to go see Nickelodeon Live (Thanks to Nanny & Papa who bought them for her birthday!). For some reason I was thinking that the show was at 6pm, and that we would have time to go to Roman's 1st football game at 4:45pm and see just a bit of it before having to leave for the show. So we got out of school at 3pm, sat outside Bourbon's school (which is directly across the street from our school) until he got out at 3:20 and then got home. About 2 minutes after we walked in the door, at 3:35pm I got the tickets off the fridge to put them in my purse so I wouldn't forget them, only to glance at them and realize that the show started at 4pm!!! I grabbed Starla and we ran out the door. Wearing my work clothes which had baby gunk all over it from hanging out with babies all day. AND I wear funny feety socks (you know, the loud striped ones that come up to my calves, with capris) to work because we just wear socks in our room not shoes. so I had those socks on with some red slip on shoes, TOTALLY looked like an idiot, and we were off to the civic center, lol. Of course both parking lots in front of the civic center were full and we had to spend an extra few minutes finding a spot and then sprinting into the civic center. We were in our seats like 5 minutes after, and when we got there Moose & Zee were doing the opening song. Whew.

Of course my camera batteries had died at school that day, and since I ran out the door I didn't grab my extra set. So I had no camera for the show. BUT thanks to the wonderful internet I googled images from the show and found a ton. And they are all the same exact show with the same exact actors, so they are as good as having my own pics! :)

Moose & Zee opened the show and came out and did a little skit between each show, just like on TV.




First was Kai Lan, which was fun.



next the backyardigans came out and did a skit




and my personal favorite; Wonderpets in Wonderland! They wonderpets follow Ollie the bunny down the rabbit hole to wonderland for his tea party with the mad hatter, the cheshire cat and the queen of hearts. :)













and last was Starla's favorite, Dora. It was the sleeping boots story where Dora becomes a true princess.






Then everyone came out for a song and a bow.



Starla was in awe. We had pretty good seats and were pretty close to the stage, and she couldn't pull her eyes away! I think she was even more impressed with this than Disney on Ice, although there's no comparison in my book; Disney always wins. :)
