Pumpkin beer!

Wow, who knew that my pumpkin addiction would have something new to try! I'm not much of a beer person. There are a few that I have found that I think are ok, but it's just not something I find myself ever really wanting (now Jack & coke, that's a whole other story......) I found the blue moon variety first, which I like a whole lot. Then I found the Jack's pumpkin spice and thought, let's try that one too! Neither of them taste like pumpkin in any way, which is disappointing, but still they are pretty good. I don't think I'd buy the Jack's again, but I think I may stock up on the blue moon before it is gone for the season!

I really want to have a wine & cheese party. I wanted to have it the weekend before thanksgiving, like a thanksgiving celebration with friends. But I don't see me being able to pull it off, which makes me sad. My children's lit class (where I have to read 54 books and write up card files for them) card files are due the following monday, and I only have 30 hand written, half way done thus far. So I think I have to spend that weekend working on that instead. It stinks to be responsible. :) I am sending my kids out of town that weekend to the in-laws, and I thought it would be so perfect to have my adult wine & cheese party then. Sigh. Oh well, I will have to wait and do it as a christmas thing.

I need to go write in my novel. I am up to almost 10,000 words! My goal is to be at 20,000 by the end of the weekend. Wish me luck!
