Texas!!

So I am sitting here at Jenny Jones casa, relaxing a bit while all the little kiddos (Starla, Carter & Reagan) and Jenny take a nap. Matt came and got Bourbon this morning and they are off for a week long adventure here in texas; seawolrd, schlitterbahn and the beach! He's going to have a blast, but of course I will miss him.

We drove in yesterday and went directly to grapevine mills mall. The Jones family met us there and we shopped til we dropped! My friend Cher and her son Roman met us up there for a bit as well. Always nice to see friends that I don't get to see much! After we shopped we came over to the Jones casa and Corey grilled some burgers and we just hung out for the night. Watching Carter and Starla interact is cracking me up, they actually can have conversations now!

Today we got up and went to their super-duper cool pool in the housing edition, and then grabbed some food at sonic and now we are in nap mode. After everyone gets up and around we are heading to Ikea, my favorite place! Woo hoo. Then the kiddos and I will head out from there and start heading home.

I fall in love with this housing edition every single time I am here. It is so perfect, like stepford wives perfect. The perfect victorian doll house houses, and parks and the pool, and just the feeling. It's one of those places where the kids could ride around the block on their bikes without any fear. And yet it doesn't seem uptight and pretentious, like say, edmond does to me. Everyone seems so laid back and friendly. I always convince myself I want to live here when I am here, but I don't know if I could actually move away from my family and friends. I use and abuse my parents so much with the kids, I can't imagine not having that! :) Plus of course, we would miss them and everyone else. Maybe some day though......

I can't wait until the Harry Potter midnight showing tomorrow night!!! Yes, I'm a nerd and I don't really care.
