We got to go to the Melting Pot on tuesday, which is one of my all time favorite places to eat! It is pretty expensive though, so it is one of those special occasion treats that we don't do very often. We have only been to this one here in bricktown once before this, a year ago for Jamie's birthday! But we have been to 2 different ones in Texas. I have been wanting to take the kids there forever though, since I knew they would love it (it had been an adults only dinner the previous times we went!). So I was very excited when they advertised a new Family dinner night on tuesdays. They call is Family Feast, and it is $88 for 4 people. (Normally the 4 course dinner we do there for Alan & I is $100 for just us 2! So $88 for 4 is really good for that place! But yes, it is expensive, however I say it is totally worth it for a once in a while treat!)
Alan enjoys some cheese!
Next course, they put pots of flavored broth in the pots (again you usually get to pick which one you want, but this was just what they had for us!) I'm not even sure what it was, but it was yummy! Then they give you plates of raw chicken, pork, steak, shrimp and veggie pot stickers, and a bowl of veggies (mushrooms, potatos, broccoli) You put it in the broth for a few minutes and it cooks it up for you. They give you like 6 different sauces and creams to dip them all in too. It's so much fun, and since it takes a while to make it through the meal, it's perfect for conversation!
Bourbon loved the steak.

Alan is so silly.

So is Bourbon. :)

The waiter was nice enough to take a pic of all of us!

Yum, next comes dessert! We had snickers chocolate fondue! It was soo yummy! This is the plate of stuff they bring out to dip in it (we got 2 plates of everything for 4 people). There's cheesecake, pound cake, bananas, strawberrys, brownies, rice crispie treats, oreo covered marshmallows, and graham cracker covered marshmallows.
