Day 1
Current mood: chill
So today I started my new HCG diet, but no big deal for today & tomorrow, since these are "gorge" days, where you are supposed to consume as much fatty foods as possible. I know, weird, right? But in theory this helps you not be hungry for the remaining time that you are on the 500 calories. I am going to do it for 40 days (the max time you are supposed to do it without a break). So do me a favor and no one invite me out for lunch, dinner, ice cream, lol, etc. for the next 40 days! I can resist anything but temptation..........
I'm not sure I am doing a great job at eating a ton of fatty foods. After watching what I eat forever, it's weird for me to eat a bunch of crap. That and I get full really fast, and then I feel queasy after eating fatty foods since I've scrapped them from my diet for so long. But that doesn't mean that I won't enjoy my hot fudge sundae that I am going to make myself here in a bit.......
I have devoured 2 books in the last 48 hours. And probably will start a new one tonight. I just got done reading "Running with Scissors" which is a memoir, and has been made into a movie. I might just have to check the movie out now. This guy had one twisted and messed up life. Why are we so interested in people's lives that are so screwed up? Are we just trying to make ourselves feel better about our own?! lol. I'm thinking about reading the Vampire Chronicles (Anne Rice) again, it's been YEARS since Ive read them, but then again it's so hard to read old books when I have such a huge pile of new ones that I've not touched. I have plenty to keep me busy this summer. Even if I read 3 books a week, I think I have enough to read all new books this summer. I own entirely too many books, if there could be such a thing. Now I need to hurry up and write my own.......

The "Running with Scissors" movie wasn't that great as far as I remember. I never like the movies after I've read the book anyway (I never read that one though). But I did just finish "Good In Bed" and it's sequel "Certain Girls" by Jennier Weiner. I highly recommend them!
