Yum, these things are soooooo good. We had them last time we went to my scrapbook retreat. She put the recipe in her cookbook too, so I am sharing it with you guys. They are super easy, super yummy, and feed quite a few people, so it's perfect for entertaining or having friends/family over this summer!
Hammies
Package of potato rolls
sliced deli ham
baby swiss cheese
Sauce:
2 tbs mustard (I use honey mustard!)
4 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs poppy seeds
2 stickes of butter (this is why it's so good....lol)
1 tbs of worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook sauce in a pan until melted and becomes thick. Place desired amount of ham and cheese inside each potato roll. Place sandwiches in a deep dish pan and pour sauce over the rolls. For best results set in refrigerator overnight, however if time doesn't permit they should soak for at least an hour. Bake for 20 minutes covered with foil, and 10 minutes uncovered. Serve warm!
I'm telling you, these are soooooo good. I made them for dinner last night, and there were 12 sandwiches and we only had 2 for leftovers, lol. My family likes them.

Those look so good! I am going to have to try them for sure, thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever noticed how sandwiches taste SO much better when someone else makes them for you? (hint hint) LOL! They look delish!
